At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on October 1, 2026, Issei Takahashi was elected as a director of Vaigate, and he assumed the office of Representative Director on the same day.

Profile
After graduating from the University of Tokyo in 2007, Issei Takahashi worked in equity trading and research at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse in Tokyo, and then in equity investment and portfolio management at Point72 Asia (Hong Kong) Limited. From 2018, he worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group) on research and portfolio management for investments in companies in developing countries. He became Representative Director of Vaigate in October 2026. He is a CFA® charterholder and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
